Free Case Evaluation

When you think of Florida the first thing that comes to mind is sunshine and outdoor activities. Filled with fantastic parks, hiking trails, and outdoor activities, Broward County has everything you need for a great family outing. One of our favorite parks in the area is Brian Piccolo Park.

Brian Piccolo Park opened in 1989 and is the hub for athletic activity in the county. This 175-acre complex is filled with a variety of fantastic activities and fun for the whole family. Home to one of three Velodromes in the southeastern United States, Brian Piccolo Park is buzzing with activity every day of the week. The sports complex houses several baseball and softball fields, basketball courts, and plenty of room for football or soccer. There are also several tennis courts and even access to a top-notch racquetball court. Nearby, families have access to picnic tables making this a great place to spend the day.

Exercising at Brian Piccolo Park

Brian Piccolo Park has more for everyone to enjoy besides the athletic complex. The property also includes a world-class road course, a designated path for bikers and joggers, and plenty of nature to enjoy. The park is also home to the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail. On the south side of the park is a roped-off area indicating the home of Florida’s Burrowing Owls. The owl population is quite large here, which makes the park a great place for experiencing them in their natural habitat. Other birds that can be viewed in the nature park include the Red-tailed Hawk, White Ibis, Red-bellied Woodpecker, and the Loggerhead Shrike.
