Coconut Creek, FL ― A fire recently destroyed Grif’s Western store, which was located on the 5700 block of U.S. 441 in Coconut Creek. The store, which was a retailer of boots, jeans, saddles, jewelry and more, was discovered to have gone up in flames shortly before sunrise on Saturday, September 4, 2010. According to firefighters who responded to the call, the inferno was so intense that firefighters from neighboring cities had to help battle the blaze.
Despite the firefighters’ best efforts, the Grif’s Western location was destroyed by the fire. While the blaze raged, one firefighter had to be treated for exhaustion. Grif’s main location in Davie is still open and company management has said the Coconut Creek store will be rebuilt.
If you have suffered similar damage to your commercial property in Florida, you may be eligible for compensation under your commercial insurance policy. When you file a claim for business losses, an insurance adjuster may underestimate the value of your claim. Or, in some cases, your commercial insurer may deny your insurance claim altogether.
If this happens, you can get the help of a Florida commercial insurance attorney. A Florida commercial insurance attorney can protect your legal interests in a commercial insurance claim.
